therapy where your identity is not the problem.
too many people spend their first sessions teaching a therapist the basics, or bracing for the moment it goes wrong. you can skip that here. we start from where you actually are.
the cost of being careful
reading every room, deciding who gets which version of you. the vigilance is constant, and it is tiring in a way that is hard to describe.
family that loves you conditionally
acceptance with terms attached, or a relationship that only works while parts of you stay unmentioned. grief for the version you hoped for is real.
harm that came from care settings
being misgendered, doubted or pathologised by people meant to help makes reaching out again a genuinely hard ask.
no part of you needs justifying.
my practice is anti-oppressive and intersectional, which means i take seriously that some of what you carry was put there by other people and by systems, rather than being something “wrong” with you. your identity is context here, not the presenting problem (unless you want to work on that, in which case we can!).

what working together looks like
we get to know each other and start your therapy journey together! we'll go at your pace and figure it out as we go.
we talk
a free 20-minute call. ask me anything, including how i work and where i stand. no obligation either way.
we go at your speed
you decide what is on the table and what is not. trust gets built rather than assumed.
we work on what you brought
whether that is identity, family, work or something with no obvious label yet, we start from your account of it.
come as
no preamble, no justifying. book a free consult and start from where you actually are.
